The 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE 2025) was held in Shanghai from November 5 to 10. With more than one million visitors, 4,000 companies from 138 countries, and trade deals worth $83.49 billion, the expo once again reinforced its position as one of the world’s most important trade events.

At this international event, the Islamic Republic of Iran actively showcased its export capabilities and potential to business and trade professionals from around the world. The Iranian National Pavilion was established with the participation and management of the Iran House of Innovation and Technology (IHIT) in Beijing, with the support of the Vice Presidency for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, the Center for Progress and Transformation Cooperation of the Presidential Office, and the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran.

Through the Iranian National Pavilion and Commercial Pavilion, more than 40 companies and 100 Iranian business and trade professionals participated in sectors including food industries, petrochemicals, consumer goods, and medical equipment, presenting their products and services.

The participation of Iranian companies in the expo provided a valuable opportunity to expand trade and technological cooperation, showcase Iran’s export capabilities, and strengthen connections with the Chinese market and other international markets.
